“From little acorns grow mighty oaks.” An oak leaf reminds us that strong initiatives can grow from humble beginnings.

The young tree persona signifies the common heritage we all share of being nurtured by the solar energy of the sun which produces the plants we eat.

Holding the scales of justice in one hand, the plant persona recognizes that the necessities of life like food, water, earth and air depend on the care of and the equitable distribution of resources. From the other hand, s/he scatters the seeds of hope and renewal.

Andrea,
I thought the instructions (Leave a Reply), as to leaving snail mail or email addresses were confusing and weren't clearly addressed; not sure I did it right. As for voting never saw it mentioned anywhere. One logo did not come through -only four were pictured. Will it be done over with 5 logos showing?
Also, I would be interested in possibly doing more designs with this group.

I vote for logo number two with peoples faces and coins.

I thought it was important to include people in the logo. This used a non stylized way.

I vote for this one. It shows character and artistic uniqueness. I like the fact that it looks like an oak leaf bec acorns were one of the first foods on this continent. Recognition of where we come from.
It may need to be tweaked a little to work in black and white or newsprint- but it is worth a try.
